Following suit with the 25th anniversary “Pure$” colorway, this newly designed One6One7 has been stirring quite a buzz lately. Why you ask? Well, apparently Team Jordan member Ray Allen was sporting these bad boys in a PE colorway when he broke the three point record in game 2. Coming this summer, so stay tuned for release info.
This Jordan Jeter Throwback training shoe features a super sleek design that fit right in with JB. It also sports details under the tongue and on the back of the heel that are unique to Jeter’s achievements throughout his career. A leather upper along with synthetic leather with a quarter overlay system provides a secure fit for performance. As you may know froma past post, this is the ninth shoe in the series and Jordan brand decided to pay special tribute to nine defining moments in Jeter’s career. Jeter and Lubrano collabo’d on exactly which moments they most wanted to commemorate. This hybrid design that resulted, which includes the Jumpman Jordan tag on the tongue featured on the Air Jordan XI, Air Jordan IX, and Air Jordan VI, is not only a superior training shoe, but can hold it’s own off the field with no hiccups.

The Foot Locker House of Hoops located on 125th St. in the Harlem will have Carmelo Anthony as a special guest on Saturday, 6/12. Carmelo is no stranger to NYC as he was born in New York City and also won a NCAA Championship with Syracuse in 2003.
