Here is another look at the Air Jordan XIII Premio sample worn by Gentry Humphrey at the Quai 54 tourney in Paris. Although it doesn’t look like this model will be released, we will get a XIII Premio. So soak in the Pics After the Jumpman…
Whoa…First of all shout out to TSG for snagging this photo for all the JHEADZ in the world. Spotted at the Quai 54 tourney, worn by no other than Gentry Humphrey (JB’s head of Design). Known for sporting samples that will never make the shelves, intially these were simply thought to be another retro, but after closer investigation, the tongue reveals the Bin 23 Premio Logo. Unfotunately, this model didn’t fit with the whole Bin 23 Cigar connoisseur theme, so we get to fight over the Burgundy Suede joints. Which would you have chosen? More Pics After the Jumpman…
As we buckle down and try to wrap our heads around all the releases left this year, we have taken it one step further today and showed you drops coming in 2011 (As If we didn’t have enough to worry about). Being the most remembered model, the Black/True Red-White colorway is the shoe Michael Jordan wore during the 1998 NBA Playoffs as well as the 1998 NBA All-Star Game. It was also the same kick used for an PE AJ 13 Low. That 97-98 season was MJ’s last go round with the Chicago Bulls. 2011 will be a promising year for retro heads. More Pics After the Jumpman…
“Dubbed the “Black Cat” by designer Tinker Hatfield, totally unaware that it was one of MJ’s nicknames. Outfitted with a “Panther’s” eye like hologram and a Zoom Air carbon fiber plate, it served MJ well while captureing his second regular season, All-Star, and NBA Finals MVP sweep. Later with help from the XIV he will go on to win the first ever 3-peat as well as his record tenth scoring title.”
